Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko is the Founder of Avid Aid Foundation.  Miss Oppong-Darko is an industrious and administrative proficient who holds BSc. In Economics and Business Administration (management option) from catholic University – Ghana, MSc. Organizational Development – UDS / CCOD, (IOD- Florida, USA).

Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko combines passion with action to vanguard solving threaten social, environmental and community issues. Her vision is to provide support and assistance for the needy in Society and very passionate about the welfare of less privileged and the vulnerable. Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko’s ambition focuses on prioritization of children upbring and considers their physiological, sociological and psychological handicaps as matter of urgency that needs imminent strategic and tactical approaches to eradicate the menace.

Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko believes in inclusive growth and development of every child in communities characterized by broaden poverty and vulnerabilities. Her reasons for joy are to see a society where everyone has equal opportunities and protection of fundamental rights of every person irrespective of gender, race or social status.

Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko has over the years demonstrated high level of altruism, empathetic, and futuristics charisma that provides an enabling environment for all manner of persons. Her wish is that   ‘“there comes a time when we all should hear a certain call for the world to come together as one’ to care for the less privileged and vulnerable in the society. Her dream is that everyone comes ‘to lend a hand to life; the greatest gift of all’. Miss Mavis Oppong-Darko thinks ‘We can’t go on pretending day by day that someone somewhere will make the change.  As we are all a part of God’s great family and the truth is, Love is all we need to make a brighter day so, let’s start giving’”.
